October’s meetings covered a number of things. We completed the annual family interviews that update all of the information that we have on file for each family. We weighed each child and evaluated their level of nutrition. These latest findings are used to create the new Family History Sheets that will be sent to sponsors in December. There was a devotional given at the monthly meetings and a talk about the importance of education and sending the children to school. With recent roadblocks in Guatemala; we were happy to see that our families were able to attend the meetings and to receive their benefits. We reached the deadline for our Christmas Blessing; the opportunity to send in something for the children for Christmas. We are pleased with this year’s giving and look forward to providing a great Christmas for the children. We are beginning to doing our purchasing; Santa’s workshop is very busyJ!
