February was the culmination of our “Health Emphasis” for each Embrace child. Lab work that was done in January was reviewed by Guatemalan doctors and a physical check-up done for each child. Medication was given for what each child needed. These annual check-ups help us to stay on top of whatever medical needs may exist and to address them individually. This is a huge benefit that most child sponsorship programs do not offer and we feel is very important to address the overall health/nutritional needs for our children. We are blessed to have Guatemalan doctors that have stood with us for years to see this happen annually
