We weighed and measured heights on the children plus also doing the nutritional level on everyone; so that we would have updated information to include on our new Family History Sheets that will be sent out to the sponsors at the beginning of 2025. We also finished off the annual family interviews to update any file information that we have to again give accurate updated data to the sponsors. The monthly “chat” was on the importance of going to school and what an education can do to improve the children’s future. The devotional teaching was from Proverbs 16:3 (one of my favorites). We had a team present for two of our groups that helped with preparing the food bags, as well as assisting with the monthly meetings when they were present. School classes are coming to an end and that will be another data entry that will be calculated and passed along to the sponsors; to let them know whether their child passed their grade and will be entering the next grade or not next year. We had a good response to Christmas Blessing and are jumping in to do the Christmas shopping and preparing for a special time for our Embrace children and families this Christmas. We appreciate the faithfulness of our Embrace sponsors that jump in to support these “extra opportunities” to reach out to their sponsored children and also going the extra mile to know that no child will be left out!
